Shree Bhartiya Pragnachakshu Gurukul (BPG) Was founded On 1st June 1960 by the visionary Shri Devjibhai Jethabhai Khokhari, with the heartfelt mission of Uplifting And Empowering Visually Impaired Individuals. What Began As A Humble Initiative With Limited Resources Has Now Grown Into A Beacon Of Hope And Transformation For Thousands.

Despite The Initial Challenges Of Operating Without Capital Or Infrastructure, The Firm Belief In The Cause Attracted The Support Of Generous Donors, Prominent Industrialists, Compassionate Institutions, And Members Of The Public. Their Unwavering Support Helped Build What BPG Is Today—A Trusted And Impactful Educational And Rehabilitation Center For The Visually Impaired.

The Institute Receives Recognition From The State Government, Officially Introducing Structured Braille-Based Primary Education For Blind Students From Std. 1 To 8.
